NOT JUST JEWELLERY.

Each ATIKA piece is made through a process built on responsibility, transparency, and care at every stage.

We work exclusively with workshops certified by internationally recognised organisations such as the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC), Intertek, and AENOR, ensuring ethical sourcing, fair working conditions, and responsible production.

Our RJC certifications cover both the Code of Practices and full Chain of Custody, guaranteeing traceability across the supply chain, while Intertek and AENOR certifications ensure controlled processes, environmental responsibility, and dignified working conditions for every artisan.

From the origin of our materials to the final finish, every step is audited, transparent, and held to clear ethical standards.

ETHICS IN A GLOBAL CONTEXT

At ATIKA, ethical responsibility is not an abstract concept. It is a direct response to the reality of the jewelry industry today. In many parts of the world, metals are still extracted under conditions that involve child labor, unsafe environments, and the exploitation of vulnerable communities. Children as young as eight or nine spend long hours underground, breathing toxic dust, working in darkness, and risking their health to extract materials that will later appear in polished storefronts.

This is not a story from the past. It is happening now, and too often it is ignored.

That is why we work exclusively with production partners certified by the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC). These international standards ensure that no ATIKA piece originates from conflict zones, abusive practices, or mines linked to child labor or exploitation. The RJC guarantees full traceability across the entire supply chain, verifying that materials are responsibly sourced and that human rights are respected at every stage.

Choosing to create responsibly means refusing to look away.

HOW WE ENSURE RESPONSIBLE PRODUCTION

Our commitment to ethics and sustainability is supported by verified, internationally recognised certifications. Our production workshop is accredited by the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) under both its Code of Practices (CoP No. 0000 4790) and Chain of Custody (CoC No. C0000 5288) certifications. These standards guarantee full traceability across the supply chain and ensure that no ATIKA piece is linked to conflict materials, child labour, worker exploitation, or abusive working conditions.

In addition, the workshop holds ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 certifications, granted by Intertek, covering quality management and environmental responsibility. These certifications ensure controlled processes, reduced waste, and responsible use of resources at every stage of production. The workshop is also certified by AENOR in Occupational Health and Safety Management, ensuring safe, regulated, and dignified working conditions for every artisan.

These accreditations define the foundation of ATIKA. We believe that true luxury is not measured by appearance alone, but by the integrity, responsibility, and respect behind every piece, for people, for the craft, and for the planet.
